The position of Žaborić is a perfect place for walks, excursions and exploration.
You can walk to to Jadrtovac, 15th century village. Jadrtovac is famous for ancient fort of Trogir patricians Andreiss. Jadrtovac is also famous for its healing mud which cures various illness. There is also a horse herd and the ancient pine woods which provide shade on hot summer days.
In the hills above the village there are peasant households where the food is prepared like shepard from the 15th century and where the rain is used for drinking.
Ten minutes with a boat is an island Krapanj. It was settled in the 14th century invasion of the Turks. On the island is situated old city core with Franciscan convict , the church from the 16th church and diver museum. The people from Krapanj are known as the sponge divers.
Farther away there is an island Zlarin and the Venice sea fort st. John. There are only 3 of the same in the world. The other two are situated on Malta and in Venice.
10 km far is renaissance city Šibenik. It is known for its renaissance cathedrale and city hall which is under the protection of UNESCO, its history library, international children festival which begins at the end of the june and lasts for two weeks.
15 km far, to the south is situated Primošen. Primošten is known for its rural architecture and black vine Babić which grows from the solid rock. Above the Primošten is the greatest disco club on the open - Aurora.
To the west, 20 km far there is Vodice. Vodice are known for its night life. Hacienda, one of the bigest and the most famous disco clubs is situated in Vodice, also as lots of restaurants and bars that work the whole night.
Twenty km far there are two maybe biggest attractions in the whole Croatia; national park Kornati which is made up of hundreds of small islands, which are full of silence and fish. The other one is national park around the river Krka.
40 km far are the ancient citys Trogir and Knin, and a little further, Zadar and Split. In the center of Split is situated world famous attraction; the palace of Roman emperor - Diocletianus.
