'Apartments Mediteraneo' is a house with two apartments in the first row near the sea. It gives refreshment even on the hottest days in August.
As the house is on a peninsula, you can use even 2 beaches. The first one in front of the house, only 40 m away is a pebble beach. Behind the house there is a sandy beach, ideally for children, just 200 m away. There are a rocky beach too, with clefs and deep sea one km away. In fact Zaboric area is full of small and different beaches.
You can take the deck chairs and parasols into the house, set them out early in the morning and use them throughout the day until late into the evening. You can watch the sun at sunset and, cosy under a light blanket, wait for the glow of the first stars, which seems at this place bigger than usually.
If you don't prefer to lie under the sun for a long time, you can take a shower under the outside shower and come back into the house and the safe shade.
On the ground floor there is a small yard covered with wine tree leafs which provides with freshness and moisture.
In the yard, there is a small garden with herbs, where you can pick fresh mint, rosemary, laurel, basil, hot peppers, sage and lavender to imbue your meals with the taste of the
Mediterranean.
The bigger apartments ( photos on the left ) is 75 m2 big. It is composed of two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen and terrace 20 m2 big. It is perfect for 4 persons (A4+1).
The essence of the
Mediterranean lies in the mingling of the landscape and its unique climate: the sun, the wind, the sea and smells. So the most important place is not the house, but outside, in the open. The terrace was built so that you can spend almost your entire day there. It is roomy enough to accommodate 10 people; it is shielded from the wind by its position, and from the sun by the vine grape. From the terrace, there is a plain view of the sea and the islands. It is the place where you will enjoy drinking your morning coffee or drying in the sun after an early morning swim. It is there you will have lunch, sit, lie, read and absorb the sun in the shadow cast by the vine grape, where you will invite friends you are sure to meet during your stay for a cup of coffee or an evening candlelit "chat" and the last place where you will enjoy spending some time before going to bed.
Bedrooms facing north. From the window, you have a view of the hills above the village. On the windows, there are nets against insects.
The bathroom is completely new, small and practical, and for quick showers there is a shower in the yard, with a sun-heated water tank.
The smaller apartment ( photos on the lright ) is 40 m2 big. It consists of one bedroom, bathroom and living room with a kitchen. It has a small yard just nearby.
It is perfect for two adults and a child. Facing south it is full of sunlight from the morning hours to the evening.
On the right side of the house there is a yard 30 m2 with a tent, a table and chairs. It is a place with a plain view of the sea and the islands. There you will spend most of the day. Perfect for long breakfasts, reading, talking and keeping your eye on the children while they play on the beach. It is a place where you can invite your friends to have a cup of coffee, a candlelight dinner or simply to enjoy the Mediterranean climate, the sea, the sun and its fragrances...
The kitchen is small and functional. You can always talk to your host about food. He is a gourmet and connoisseur of everything good that is produced in the region. He will be glad to tell you where you can buy fresh, organically grown or ecological fruits and vegetables, the true Dalmatian bread, olive oil, cheese, wine, meat or fish.
The bedroom is facing north, with a view of the pine.
